Living a life of strict adherence to rules and complete loyalty to the emperor, Sigrid believed she had been leading an honorable life. Yet, despite giving up her life for the emperor, all she received in return was the cold, sharp blade of the guillotine. As she questioned the reasons for her fate, death seemed imminent. But something miraculous happened, and she found herself five years in the past.
